Product Description

Yidu chili is a variety of chili peppers. It is purplish red when ripe, with thick sarcocarp, sufficient oil, less water content, and a dry matter content of 16% to 20%. The taste is a bit hotter than paprika. It is used to produce red pigment and is an important pepper export variety in China.

Comparing with ordinary large pepper, its taste is sweet or slightly spicy. Dark red wrinkled skin and the long type Yidu chili is the best option for natural pigment extraction.
